2012-2013 Dues

Active Membership is open to all individuals residing in the U.S. or its territories that are professionally engaged in the music field and also are members of an affiliated state association.  Active membership entitles you to participate in all Association activities and programs, receive official Association publications, vote and hold office.  The active membership year is July 1 to June 30.

Active Membership Annual dues:

                                    $65      Music Teachers National Association

                                    $30      Nevada Music Teachers Association

                                    $10      Las Vegas Music Teachers Association

                                  $105      Total

Membership in all three organizations is required.

For an individual who is 70 years of age and older, MTNA membership is $47.25.  (State and local membership amounts remain the same.)

Collegiate Membership is open to all college students currently involved in music study who also are members of an affiliated association.  Collegiate members enjoy the same privileges as active members, but cannot vote, hold office or enter students in MTNA competitions.  Students cannot give music lessons professionally and still receive the student rate.  The collegiate membership year is October 1 to September 30. 

            Collegiate Membership Annual dues:

                                    $12      Music Teachers National Association

                                    $  2      Nevada Music Teachers Association

                                    $  2      Las Vegas Music Teachers Association

                                    $16      Total

Six-Month Membership is available to individuals meeting active membership criteria who have never been MTNA members.  The six-month membership runs from January 1 through June 30.

            Six-Month Membership dues:

                        $30.50             Music Teachers National Association

                        $15.00             Nevada Music Teachers Association

                        $  5.00             Las Vegas Music Teachers Association

                        $50.50             Total

Associate Membership is available to non-teachers, supporting businesses, music schools, and others who wish to be affiliated with the local association. The fee is $100.  Associate members will receive the LVMTA monthly newsletter, a current member roster, and newsletter ad privileges.

Renewal Notices are sent from National in May and are delinquent July 1^st.
