This event is designed to give back to the community. Students of all instruments and ages are invited to perform. Please inform parents of participating students there is a minimum pledge of $5.00 per student. Additional pledges are encouraged and will benefit the Blind Center of Nevada. The pledge form follows. Add your name and phone number, copy, and distribute the form to your students.

Individual pledge checks from parents and others are to be made payable to: LVMTA, with a memo “Blind Center of Nevada”. Collect all your donations at least one week before the event. Pledges cannot be collected on mall premises. Please mail all your checks in one batch to:
Michele Johnson, 3468 Hawksbeard Ct., Las Vegas, NV 89135.

Students of all ages and levels are welcome to perform solo, duet or ensemble. Only the Galleria Mall location will be set up with more than one piano (1 grand and 5 digitals). Music does not have to be memorized, but must be polished. Selections can be classical, jazz, pop or holiday (the louder and flashier the better, as the mall venue is noisy). Play duet accompaniments with your younger students to add pizzazz to their simple pieces. Recital dress is encouraged, but not mandatory.

Blocks of time (no longer than 1 hour) will be issued to requesting teachers on a first come/first served basis. Call or e-mail the coordinators by November 13th. If you can help before or after your scheduled time, you will be appreciated. Thanks.

NOTICE: This event is not a recital. Please do not have all your students and their families arrive at once; seating is limited. Teachers, please get there at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time and take charge of your students as they arrive. Have students on hand at least ten minutes before their assigned time. Be sure you have timed your students so you do not exceed your requested time.
